ASA and its partners offer a number of continuing education opportunities:Automotive Management Institute (AMI) – AMI is the leading provider of management education for the automotive service and collision repair industry. AMI was founded in 1989 to answer the demand for management education specifically for automotive service and collision repair professionals.
Its accredited curriculum consists of more than 700 courses taught by more than 150 AMI-approved instructors. The fields of study focus on five areas of business management: marketing and sales, operations and service, management and administration, financial management, and personnel and human resource development.
AMI offers various scholarship opportunities to assist automotive service and collision repair professionals interested in obtaining the organization’s Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation and broadening their overall professional knowledge of the industry.
The recipients of the scholarships will have the opportunity to attend the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS), an industry-wide event that includes both the collision and mechanical segments of the automotive service and repair industry.Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS) – The annual CARS event offers attendees management and technical education, along with great networking opportunities.
The International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) is now known as NACE | Automechanika and will be held July 26-29, 2017 in Chicago. It’s the inaugural event of ASA’s strategic alliance between Automechanika and NACE and will be the largest U.S. trade show dedicated to high-end technical and management-related training for automotive collision and service repair shops.
