ASA Partners with FlexCheck Auto to Aid Repair Shops with Digital Vehicle Inspections
Agreement paves way for incredible opportunity for ASA members
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, Nov. 6, 2018 – The Automotive Service Association has joined forces with Blue Collar Technologies’ new DVI, FlexCheck Auto, as its latest Sponsored Benefit Provider. Sponsored Benefit Provider companies of ASA provide special member services and products to member-shops to help offset their everyday business costs.
FlexCheck Auto is a new software suite that uses a phone app and an online service writer portal to help shop owners perform and share vehicle inspections more efficiently. It allows shop owners and managers to standardize the inspection process so technicians can use the simple smartphone app to collect their findings. That includes collecting pictures and video that can then be shared with the service writer. As a result, the service writer can create an estimate, turn that estimate into a report and email the report to the vehicle owner.
“Throughout my entire career, the single biggest asset to my success has been the ability to maximize every vehicle interaction, every time, by performing thorough courtesy inspections,” said Pete Rudloff, owner of Pete’s Garage Inc. and creator of FlexCheck Auto. “Creating FlexCheck Auto has allowed me the opportunity to share this successful approach with shop owners all over the country.”
Through this partnership, ASA members will receive a special monthly price of $114 for a base subscription (normally $139), which translates into a $300 annual discount.
According to Rudloff, ASA members who subscribe to FlexCheck Auto will:
- Receive a fully customizable guided digital vehicle inspection platform created by a real shop owner,
- Receive DVI designed around a smartphone, which is easier to use versus a tablet,
- Be able to share information, pictures and video with clients and more.
Interim ASA Chief Operating Officer Beth Risch is excited about the FlexCheck Auto opportunity for ASA members.
“This new benefit is innovative and effective software, designed and tested by auto technicians!” said Beth Risch, ASA’s interim chief operating officer. “Thank you Blue Collar Technologies for being an active member of ASA for years and a leader in the industry. We are proud to sponsor FlexCheck Auto – backed by Pete Rudloff who is always 100 percent reliable and responsive – both with ASA and his customers.”
ASA Vice President Tony Molla added, “Many of our ASA members report using digital vehicle inspections in their businesses. With the growth of this type of service accelerating, we are pleased to welcome FlexCheck Auto to better serve our members’ needs now and in the future.”
